I heard that this week was pretty quiet for Westport Real Estate(the schools were closed and most of the town was away). I went to Mexico and had a great time soaking up the sun.I was pretty boring for Westport standards as I’ve spoken this week to people who went to Nicaragua, France,
Prague, and Austria. Anyway, here is whats going on so far this year in Westport and Weston.

Weston

Currently,143 homes are on the market with an average List price of $1,872,869. So far this year(01/01/06-03/01/06) 18 homes have sold with an average List price of $1,138,037.Last year at the same( 01/01/05-03/01/05) 22 homes sold with an average List price of $1,180,563.

Westport

Currently, 298 homes are on the market with an average List price of $2,196,297. So far this year (01/01/06-03/01/06) 59 homes have sold with an average List price of $1,695,366. Last year at the same time(1/01/05-03/01/05) 81 homes sold with an average List price of $1,473,128.
