Saturday, July 11th, 2009Looks like Fairfield is winning the race for Months supply of housing inventory with just 13 months of inventory s compared to 6.7 months of inventory in June of ‘07 and 9.2 months supply in June of ‘08.
Next it’s Westport with 16.5 months supply of housing inventory,Darien, 17.8 months,Weston 27.1 months and last place goes to New Canaan with 34 months supply of homes.
In the category of most improved, the winner is WESTPORT down 10.4 months from May ‘09, next is Fairfield down 7.7 months and Weston down 2.4 months.
Let’s hope as the summer progresses inventory is down in all Fairfield county towns!!
